The super light-weight and surprisingly aerodynamic zombies are only going to be active tomorrow, so make sure you’ve got your fill before they return to their former rotting selves come April 2nd.

Turned it on this morning and it was a surprise to me. I thought my game had glitched out in the best way ever, drop-kicked a zombie half-way across the map. What a good April Fools.
Dying Light's getting a relatively hefty slice of downloadable content later this month, in the form of The Bozak Horde add-on. The DLC contains a new mode which sees you tackle a maniac called Bozak's sadistic game alone or with friends, as you try to top the online leaderboards with a good survival score. Judging from the trailer that we've embedded, it looks pretty hectic.
The whole thing will take place in an old sports stadium, where the zombie outbreak first began. And, to make things a little more tempting, you'll be able to discover a whole new weapon: the hunting bow. Great for taking enemies down from a distance and with no fear of making too much noise, it could end up bringing some fresh gameplay styles to the sandbox romp.
The Bozak Horde launches on the 26th May, and it'll set you back £6.99/$9.99, unless you own the season pass, in which case you'll nab it for no extra cost. Are you ready to jump back into bloodstained Harran? Show us your most prized and deadly makeshift weapons in the comments section below.
Dying Light was censored in Japan with green blood!?
and blood and gore in Evil Within was a pre-order DLC ONLY AVAILABLE IF YOU PREORDER IT !!! as of now you cannot have it ... Japan folk import this game like crazy ...and i tough only Germany and Australia where so ... anal
guess it has to be something cultural ... like in India you cannot make white candy because White for them means Death
After getting to trial 4 I rage quit! Its very tense and my controller got very sweaty lol. This is very tough and the 3 strike rule is bullshit!
+1
The 3 tries left was a "very good" idea. Not to mention that you can only acquire the bow via this trial....Why not put it in the main map so that you can acquire it that way? Maybe then nobody would play this stupid trial DLC?
I am 22% into the game now, love it so far.
There's only one thing - I cannot see how many hours I have played the game, only the percentage... I see a lot of people posting playing time on the internet, but I cannot see it... Am I blind?
EDIT: never mind, on pause you only see percentage.
You have to quit game and then Campaign (not continue) and there you have it...
Techland has announced that it will be running the Summer with Dying Light Campaign during weekends in July and August.
Throughout the six specific weekends players will be able to take part in unique events, starting with the Spider Crane weekend from July 4 - 5. This gives players unlimited grappling hook shots and almost no fall damage.
The Harran Marathon will be the following weekend from July 11 - 12. Four unannounced events are scheduled for July 15 - 16, August 15 - 16, August 22 - 23, and August 29 - 30.
Finally finished this game, took me 38 hours (40 days in real life lol) and did like 2/3rd of the side missions. The last 2 or so hours are quite intense and I would give this game a solid 8/10.
Such a shame that the game got quite easy after levelling up a lot, got a Kitana knife with 500+ stats and one stroke was enough to kill most zombies.
On to Evil Within, after that Bloodborne! I have my hands full for the next coming 2 or 3 months.
Dying Light's first major expansion has been officially announced, and it sounds like on heck of meaty package. Dubbed 'The Following', the add-on features drivable dirt buggies to get you around the map at speed while also mowing down any zombies that dare to shuffle between you and your destination.
"The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined," developer Techland stated in a press release, confirming prior reports that this is going to be one heck of a large expansion. What's more, the studio promises story-based adventures and plenty of other unannounced features. As such, we'll be hearing more at Gamescom 2015 next week.
There's even better news if you happen to be a season pass holder, though, as The Following will come at no extra cost. Not bad if you're a lover of beating the undead, er, back to death with blunt instruments.
Holy shit! I cannot wait for this!

"The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined,"
Dying Light: The Following is a full on expansion to Techland's open world zombie shooter. Rather than expand the city of the first game, The Following opens up a whole island of farmland to explore.
Looking at it, it’s clear how big the expansion pack has grown – it could be a stand-alone title, but since it would mean a launch delay, we decided against it.
Dying Light's The Following expansion will launch 9th February 2016, Polish developer Techland has announced, alongside - as well as included within - a newly unveiled Enhanced Edition of the game. This is for all three formats: PC, PS4, Xbox One.
The Enhanced Edition does what a Game of the Year Edition would typically do - bundle the game and all downloadable content - but with added relish. The enhancements and added extras apparently took half-a-year to create.
The enhancements include:
Nightmare difficulty setting
Legend system
Bounties system
New Parkour moves
New enemy attacks and behaviours
Enhanced facial expressions
New NPC models
Improved human enemy AI
Improved volatile AI
Greater firearm variety
HUD and video filter customisations
Audio upgrades
Gameplay quality improvements
Console performance upgrades
Overall game look and feel improvements
#DrinkForDLC Content
Those enhancements are available to any one who owns the game. You'll be able to download them as a patch if you own the game already, or they'll come with the Enhanced Edition itself - it would be jolly strange if they did not.
Also included in the Enhanced Edition are DLCs The Following, The Bozak Horde mode, the Be the Zombie mode, the Cuisine & Cargo challenge missions, the Ultimate Survivor Bundle, and all the content updates released to date. It's a $60 game, so a full-priced game.
The Following expansion is available either alone or as part of the Season Pass, which will be raised in price to £24 on 8th December. Currently it's £16. Techland announced its intention to up the price about a week ago, explaining that The Following had grown so large it required a bigger price. Alternatively you can buy The Following alone for £16.
The Following introduces drivable buggies to the game, which can be murderously modified and full-throttled around a giant new map that's the same size as Dying Light's current maps combined, apparently.
Dying Light’s The Following DLC continues to look promising. It’ll be interesting to see if the game can retain its signature flow without the verticality of the city of Harran, but those dune buggies sure do seem nifty.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
