In-cockpit rain effect looks terrible in GT6 compared to GT5, and the rest looks exactly the same. That'll be 60€ please

So I decided to upgrade GT6 from v1.01 to the latest v1.04, now the fucker freezes at the sony presents screen just before the intro. Running rebug 4.40, does it need a newer CFW?

Considering the latest patch is still compiled with 4.40 SDK, I find this unlikely. Something else is wrong I guess.

The GT6 updates are incremental, you can't install 1.04 directly after 1.01. There is 1.03 too for example. Maybe that's your issue. Either leave the PS3 download them automatically as a legit one, or download every pkg and install them one by one.

just use this site http://yifan.lu/psn/ if it shows 1 update means you only need that one update, if it shows multiple updates means you need them all. in case of GT6 you need 1.02, 1.03, 1.04 http://yifan.lu/psn/?titleid=BCES01893&env=np

Yea I installed them all in order. downloaded with multiman. Dont know why I just didnt let the game do it. Anyway updates uninstalled , letting the game update itself now

Wow, the sound is f'n terrible on that. Also, for a "Real Driving Simulator", the physics are terrible. I hope the rest of the game isn't as bad as it is with a fictional near 300mph car.

Got this game recently and 2 days ago decided to fire the ps3 and play a bit. Well no, because 19 updates! Left it at work over the night, it updated and installed. So last night I said, cool, let's play, well no, because it had to update in-game After showing me 5 mins remaining for close to 3 hours, i was able to start the game I like cars

Before i'll stop playing for good, i want to try 3D. Does anyone played it in 3D? I have a 3D Samsung with active shutter glasses, but after I activate the 3D in-game, sync the glasses, nothing changes, although the TV displays 3D being active. It's such a boring game.
