I don't know, try at least apt full-upgrade to see if minor kernel update fixes your problem, and then search for possible ppa repositories for 18.04 aarch64, maybe someone packed 20.04 kernel to be installed with 18.04.
Wi-Fi drivers are part of the kernel, someone probably had the same problem.
(On an embedded system which had some variant of Ubuntu, I resolved ethernet hangouts by creating a crontab entry which called 'systemctl restart systemd-networkd' every 24 hours; Try that also)
