It was about time. The studio was having major issues for years. They balooned up thanks to TWD S01 and never managed to replicate the successful formula again. The main reason they couldn't do it was the weak writing and direction. Vanaman and a few other key people left ~2013 and no one managed to wear their shoes. They took too many projects, wasted a lot of money and ultimately failed at everything. It was a long time coming and it was fitting it came before TWD S04 is finished. It's karma for the complete disgrace that was S03. I still couldn't believe they did my man Kenny dirty like that.
All future episodes of “Telltale’s The Walking Dead” on PC will be published on the Epic Games Store, Skybound Games announced Thursday. People who already bought the season on a different PC platform will still receive the final two episodes through their previous point of purchase.
The third episode of “Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season,” entitled Broken Toys, is set for a Jan. 15 release on Epic’s new online game store. Epic Games Store will also be host to the previous episodes of the season for those who want to buy it as well. The game will hit consoles on Jan. 15 as well.
“The team at Epic owns a major chapter in the history of the game industry,” said president of interactive Dan Murray and Skybound Games CEO Ian Howe in a prepared joint-statement. “We’re excited to work together on their latest transformative event with the launch of the Epic Games Store. Epic stepped up to the plate immediately to work with us in order to bring the original team back together and ensure fans will receive the completed season of ‘Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season.'”
We’re excited to announce that when Episode 4, Take Us Back, launches on March 26th, we’ll be releasing a physical boxed edition that includes the entire Final Season for Xbox One, PS4, and Switch.
well like any other series finale they hype it up before airing with trailers and such, this one i didnt even realized it was done and released, discussions and thoughts about the ending, even this thread is like dead and it was always alive in previous seasons, nobody cares but all scramed when they canceled it
as for the quality of previous seasons it wasnt bad and was better than other telltale games, just sick of the same old telltale format
nobody cares but all scramed when they canceled it
All? No, that's just you making shit up.
(That being said it was a shitty thing to do knowing it was nearly finished and they got all the cash for it).
Just like Phill I stopped caring after season 2. Started third season and just noped out of it before I was half way.
finished the final season and i liked it, the finale was bittersweet and clementine is definitely one of the best game characters and its worth playing through it to see her final journey even if the rest of the characters are not at the same level. as a whole it was closer to the first season.
glad they got to finish her story, more twd storys would be great but its hard to find another great lead character
Played the whole series these days , so much difference between the first 2 seasons and rest. Season 3 isnt even worth mentioned, while the last one reminded me of the twilight movies, so much crap drama and soap opera. At least i could make Clem a lesbian . Last seaason had its moments, and it was a real good upgrade graphically. Also they nailed it with the AJ relationship and how you are shaping it. But still, events werent so interesting.
I guess next game will be with the goofball, if there will be one.
i thought clem's voice was edited but that woman can talk like that , also that hair on lee's actor

The first season was great because the story between Lee and Clementine was a breath of fresh air. After that it was all downhill. I remember I was barely able to finish S02 only because my favorite hillbilly Kenny was in it. After that I didn't even bother with the rest.
The drop in terms of quality was very noticeable indeed, it doesn't help that Telltale's lead writers left the company a few years back to form Campo Santo. When good writing is the only aspect that can sustain your non-game and you take that out of the equation, then there's basically nothing worthwhile left.
