Guys, its still an english forum. Don’t overstretch it.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Gotta have that not-America tax. Down here the exchange rate puts a 3080's MSRP of US$699 at around 955 monopoly bux. But they actually start at around 1,400 monopoly bux (US$1,000+) and go up from there. Not that you can even get one anyway.
EDIT: I did find the cheapest 3070, the ASUS RTX 3070 DUAL for $700.
The whole MSRP ( ) nonsense is a scam. Back in the day the price in the shop actually used to be very close to MSRP but I guess cartels and price gouging aren't crimes these days.
In fact, when I look around I see the prices for last gen AMD and Nvidia cards increasing and becoming really shitty choices for people with lower budgets.
yeah the video card market is retarded at the moment and has been continuously sliding into shitty prices (thank nvidia i'm guessing - or miners)
bought my 1070 as an ex-miner card and i'm hardly the cheapest guy when it comes to shelling out for hardware.. the newer cards just don't seem worth it no matter how i spin it. was hoping the 6800xt would put things back on neutral ground but i'm not sure that's going to happen.

Yeah I just had a quick look around for 2080s and all I could see was one 2080 Super at 1,200ish monopoly bux (~US$900) and then the rest at 1,300-1,500 monopoly bux (i.e. around the same price as a 3080, ~US$1,000+).

Being fair, I don't think the fact that these cards are hard to get helping normalize the prices.
They will still be overpriced outside US, but at least at decent amount I personally will be willing to pay. Patience is the key.
