Same here, even on low settings it stutters like crazy.
The game could be really fun otherwise but after 3 rounds it's uninstall time.
Glad I could check it out for free.
Maybe months from now they will optimize it the shit out of it or it will die, that would be a waste.

So 6 months and nothing has changed then I guess... Performance should be #1 priority for any game, if a game runs like shit it doesn't matter what else it has when its so fucking bad to play anyway.
There was a big performance patch at some point. For me it runs silky smooth. Cryengine isn't such amazing game when it comes to performance. Anyway, maybe you shouldn't judge the state of the game based on one statement without even knowing the person's rig setup.
With this update, we have focused primarily on making sure performance is on par with earlier updates, as well as on hunting down and killing sources of stutters, frame drop, and spikes. With this update users should experience an overall smoother and more stable framerate, less memory consumption, and in some cases increased FPS.
We encourage users to experiment with their graphics options to see which settings work best for them. We will continue to optimize and push updates in the future.
This game looks cool, but it still has PVP, no? That to me is what makes me not want to play it.
It's PVPVE. As a new player you will most likely end up in servers without human players until your bloodline rank is lvl 16. This is a feature so you can learn the basics and know how to fight or to avoid AI.
Hunt Showdown is a reworking of an older project called Hunt: The gilded age.
That project would have featured 4 player coop vs ai. It might have been fun but it would also have been quite generic.
I was never that much into shooters but the dark atmosphere of this game grabbed my interest.
Slowly i learned how to play and this game ended up as one of my favorite games of 2018.
I call this the "Dark Souls" of shooters. The PVP is absolutely a very big part of this game and it's very tense.
Hopefully there will be a free weekend soon so you can try it out. Or you can bite the bullit and just refund it if you don't like it (before playing 2 hours)
Here is a FANMADE trailer how 4player coop could look in Hunt.
Maybe the dev's will add such a mode after 1.0 comes out.
No, your'll be in a map with 8 to 9 enemy hunters (depending if you'll go solo or with a buddy)
There will also be monsters and bosses but you'll always have to be on your guard since you don't know if there's any other hunter left.
The should give us sandbox mode where you could play DM with 2-3 friends on a smaller map with respawn. Would have been a great way of "warming up" before you go inte the real pvp.
Great game btw
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
Rise up dead man! Hunt: Showdown will be coming to three major platforms in 2019! IT IS CONFIRMED.
Hunt for PC and Xbox will launch on August 27th, 2019 for 39.99 EUR/USD. Meanwhile, PlayStation players will be seeing their own full release of the online game this Fall. In addition to this digital release, we will be partnering with Koch Media to bring the retail version of Hunt to stores worldwide.
Hunt first launched in Early Access on Steam in February 2018 and on Xbox Game Preview in May 2019. Both platforms gave us the unique opportunity to front a community-driven development process, by taking player feedback onboard and integrating it into the game’s development roadmap. Since that first release in February 2018, we’ve released nearly 20 updates and patches, including a new boss, a new map, two new times of day, additional AI, Quick Play, and more than a dozen weapons.
Wasn't this suppose to be F2P? Now it's 39.99. Lol.
Not Hunt Showdown. Back then it was called Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. It was supposed to be a 4 player f2p coop game.
After Crytek USA closed and the project moved to Germany the scope and style of the game changed drastically.
