They are nice little nuggets although there are many existing uC boards. The PicoPi is pretty low in specs, on-par with a 8-bit micro. Boards based on STM32, LPC, ATSAM offer much more peripherals and CPU power from USB2.0, ethernet, LCD drivers, external memory busses, SDC controllers, ... and you can get those cheap, chinese clones are even cheaper. Check those out if you are interested.

The Pico uses much less power, which is its targeted audience feature. It's not meant for running large projects and such.

Now, I don't know what hardware costs in Poland, I guess it's cheaper because everything is stolen from Germany and resold... |

Liquid Tar.
Seriously. Do not be running Ubuntu on Pi yet, although it has come a long way, it's just not stable enough, yes it looks better, but just my 2c
Raspbian OS, and keep the kernel/system up to date, always Although these fantastic devices can run OS beyond what they are designed for, honestly, it's not worth the trouble, more so if you rely on each to do something for you, which is really what they are intended to do
Love em!
1 Pi Hole, 1 Server supplying whole house with media/files, 1 monitoring Air Traffic via rooftop antenna, 1 running my wife's vibrator, even when I'm asleep, and the other 3 running various tasks, all at the same time So cool.

Listen, even Raspbian 64 bit is not ready for deployment, and is still some time off, so a waste of time is the 8Gb version of the device ATM Yes, it's available, but you will be restricted heavily because most apps are 32 bit, on the Pi anyway.
I also didn't say that 'Ubuntu' was just 'another' OS, in fact, I love it on anything else, just not the Pi. So get off that 'high horse' Paxxy boy
Besides, out of all my Pi's, all of them, bar one, I run the 'lite' version, aka, no desktop, so I go with what runs best.
