Anyone can help me with my doubt from the previous page, please?

Well, we probably have the same plan from the same ISP (the one that starts with a "V") For what it's worth I have an ASUS RT-AC86U and I get the full 600 mbps from its ethernet ports and between 400 and 500 mbps from Wi-Fi (5 Ghz band of course), also virtually no packet loss.
Never tried any low class router with this service, though.

So ya guys use custom FWs of the official ones?.. And are ya using the router as a 2nd router connected to the ISP's one or did ya replaced the ISP one?
Still, something hasn't been answered. What'd be the benefits?. Better WiFi area and strenght (no matter how far away , you'll still get high speeds) or...?
Also, are the devices i've mentioned having a bandwith limit or..?

I always use custom firmwares on my routers. I started with Tomato firmware, then OpenWRT. Even my access point I've flashed to OpenWRT. You will likely not get more Wi-Fi strength, but you do get a lot more options. For example, I have OpenWRT set to allow fast roaming/transition, which the original firmware doesn't support. I have also set the region to India so I can choose all channels I want. I also enabled the Force 40 MHz mode to move my neighbors Wi-Fi to other channels and to ensure I keep the 40 MHz bandwidth. They have some fucked up routers that constantly change channel so the 40 MHz would otherwise be too unreliable. I also don't trust the software of the manufacturer, too many cases with easy exploits and backdoors.
My ISP has a modem/router combination, I have it set in bridge mode so my router does everything and this also disables the crappy Wi-Fi of it.
In that case there's not much use to it for me.. Thanks.

I'm using Asuswrt-Merlin, and the router is connected to the one provided by the ISP.
I'm sorry that your ISP is Movistar, though. I only hear bad things about it
I thought you said that saying the provider is Taboo. I edited my previous message. Edit yours too.
Ah, that explains a lot then, about connected to the router provided by the ISP and NOT the ONT..
For a moment i thought that a better Router like the ASUS one i looked for would make strong WiFi signals kinda no matter how far ya are.
For example the Router my ISP has , halfway to the house, receives like 1-2 out of 4 bars from my phone..And thought that maybe the ASUS one would power the shit out of it and better
So if i just wanted a router to power up the WiFi , it'd be something NOT Triple VLan, wich should be somewhat cheaper
However, there's something that hasn't been answered yet.. The devices that i've mentioned' bandwith limits

Do any of you use Ubiquiti products? I got tired of my Netgear garbage locking up every month and converted everything to Ubiquiti access points and router.
Still it's not answering my doubts above about the devices' bandwith

Thanks. nat and nat boost is enabled
Firmware seems to be the latest.
qos was disabled so I enabled it and prioritized the pc.
Will test for some time but don't see outright improvement on speedtest (but it''s a shit test, steam is better)
btw - I have 2,4 enabled and hidden with only the roomba vacuum connected to it(it does not support 5ghz). Can I maybe change transmit power to low or some otehr settings so the roomba works but 2,4 is not using too much of routers resources? Anyway - even with 2,4 disabled there is no improvement really.
I recently upgraded to 1000mbit and am experiencing faster speeds with NAT/NAT Boost enabled and QoS disabled
Managed to pick up an AX88U today in Black Friday (off the back of a lorry) sales - £50 , brand new, sealed box as well, just had to wipe the fingerprints off, well, you gotta be careful these days, Covid, and all
Looks great next to my AC86U, which will be moving to the back room now
Looks nice. I stopped buying their routers after they had that lawsuit against them some years ago because they couldn't even implement the most basic of security on the one thing that's supposed to be secure lol

It's true, yup, lol, and why I use Merlin F/W on these devices, and not the ASUS stock
