No Worries 
driver issues are not with mpchc/be but with madVR.. and its not teh softwares fault at all.. its nvidia/Microsoft/AMD/Intel messing up teh HDR stuff...

Nvidia is even fixing it, since its theyr fault^^

Since they've destroyed the "unchecked Fast Seek" 's minimalistic seeking, i had to install 1.9.9 and then copy n overwrite some of the 1.9.9 files with a few modded files by the community from 1.9.2 and the trick works, now being minimalistic again
Damn, for once that worked by suggestion on a stable release and then they killed it... Good thing i keep the old mod from 1.9.2, heheee...Hey, atleast it's something!
EDIT: Sadly if i do the 1.9.2 trick it tells MPC that it's the 1.9.2 version and i take it'll ignore the 1.9.9 updates etc..
Shit, if something works after suggesting it, why kill it later?.. Is there a way to edit the specific 1.9.9 file that makes skimming minimalistically precise like with the fix they gave me out??..

happened to me too, i disabled the internal filter and re-enabled madvr so it got sorted out

im unshure, there are some new options.
Options - Advanced --> AllowInaccurateFastSeek ON or OF (hover over the option to get more info)
Options - Tweaks --> Fast seek on keyframe (also hover....more info)
did you try playing with these settings?

I tried that and it's not working
There were people, me included, that requested such feature back then https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/issues/370
And they made it go 100ms wich made things great.
However, somehow, they decided to remove it and not tell how to change it by ourselves later https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/issues/701
No, going to Tweaks and change the 3 top values to 100 while also disabling the nearest keyframe option won't work

Overview of features
A lot of people seem to be unaware of some of the awesome features that have been added to MPC-HC in the past years. Here is a list of useful options and features that everyone should know about:
Dark interface
Menu > View > Dark Theme
When using dark theme it is also possible to change the height of the seekbar and size of the toolbar buttons.
Options > Advanced
Video preview on the seekbar
Options > Tweaks > Show preview on seek bar
Adjust playback speed
Menu > Play > Playback rate
The buttons in the player that control playback rate take a 2x step by default. This can be customized to smaller values (like 10%):
Options > Playback > Speed step
Adjusting playback speed works best with the internal audio renderer. This also has automatic pitch correction.
Options > Playback > Output > Audio Renderer
MPC-HC can remember playback position, so you can resume from that point later
Options > Player > History
You can quickly seek through a video with Ctrl + Mouse Scrollwheel.
You can jump to next/previous file in a folder by pressing PageUp/PageDown.
You can perform automatic actions at end of file. For example to go to next file or close player.
Options > Playback > After Playback (permanent setting)
Menu > Play > After Playback (for current file only)
A-B repeat
You can loop a segment of a video. Press [ and ] to set start and stop markers.
You can rotate/flip/mirror/stretch/zoom the video
Menu > View > Pan&Scan
This is also easily done with hotkeys (see below).
There are lots of keyboard hotkeys and mouse actions to control the player. They can be customized as well.
Options > Player > Keys
Tip: there is a search box above the table.
You can stream videos directly from Youtube and many other video websites
Put youtube-dl.exe in the MPC-HC installation folder.
Then you can open website URLs in the player: Menu > File > Open File/URL
You can even download those videos: Menu > File > Save a copy
Tip: to be able to download in best quality with youtube-dl, it is recommended to also put ffmpeg.exe in the MPC-HC folder.
Several configuration options are found here: Options > Advanced
Play HDR video
This requires using madVR or MPC Video Renderer.
After installation these renderers can be selected here:
Options > Playback > Output
Ability to search for and download subtitles, either automatically or manually (press D):
Options > Subtitles > Misc
Besides all these (new) features, there have also been many bugfixes and internal improvements in the player in the past years that give better performance and stability. It also has updated internal codecs. Support was added for CUE sheets, WebVTT subtitles, etc.

Does this player have the functionality of playing x2 or perhaps even 4x speed with audio and unaltered pitch? or does anyone know of such a player?

that's the player i use, i tried upping the speed, sound just disappeared. i guess there's some setting somewhere i have to turn this functionality on..

yes, any audio editor has had this for 20+ years, youtube has this as well.
would be great to have for series where there's crap that doesn't interest you but you also need to sit through it so you don't miss something "important", makes it at least somewhat less frustrating...

just tried it out, works fine over here
