well i for one voted for jenny because i think she did a nice job helping people, she did not came to mind as the person that would start a flame war and seemed to stuck to reason. there are a lot other senior members who just seem to love to get of some steam towards a newb or requester...she doesn't. she knows her bit about games and computers and does act mature. she also got a consuming personality and sticks out of the bunch of users, maybe that's why pallebrun did not came into mind (no offense intended). this of course says nothing about her modding qualities but were arguments for her. jenny now got to proove herself to be up to the task, but i am sure she will handle it just fine. for me it had nothing to do with her beeing a woman and maybe that shows a certain maturity in myself *bling* *bling* hehehehe and the other team members of course.

oh there sure as hell will sooner or later be vacant positions again...and i don't think names brought into discussion within the team or even here will be forgotten and not considered. soo behave guys Very Happy

And with all that said...

she doesn't have enough forum experience to be a moderator Very Happy there are few mods here with the same case. And though it does seem as negative it really is a positive. Fresh blood means new view on certain posts. What an old-school mod might overlook the newbie will not.

You guys are just jealous Razz live with it.

Imagine if sublime were a mod, or Lutzifer, or Godlikez* or fisk or any other nforce-inhabitant. They, we, have our moments of shameful glory where we really, really, really got pissed and made few members feel unhappy and we did not care.

It happens.

But if they were mods they wouldn't have these shameful moments of glory anymore. They would simply ban and forget about it. Razz

this is odd, jenni hasn't had any trouble with anyone and everyone is pissed at her getting chosen...

i was first of the new mods to be selected and at the time had the most posts, about 3400 with the old board and noone complained... very odd
