It's pretty good exploit, but I don't think it will help for native PS4 hombrews or "backups"..
But has been mentioned, there probably going to be released something soon.

ps4 7.02 kernel exploit has been released. should not be too long till the webkit exploit of 6.7x gets ported to 7.02 and we will have a full jailbreak for that version. still not the latest (which is 7.5x where sony patched that exploit) but atleast something

one step closer to bloodborne at 60 fps if lance mcdonald ever releases the damn mod
hopefully ps5 will handle that anyway...

Better late than never, playing the PS4 with busted HDMI I got for free and fixed now. Drakes Fortune 4 and Last of US remastered.

Wololololo are saying it's a vulnerability in 7.55 and some are saying it'll also work on 8.00
I updated to 7.50 to play TLoU2 but have held off ever since. Funnily enough I just said to someone last week that I would think about buying a PS5 for myself once I could hack my PS4 Pro. Good thing I have 4 in the house I am in the process of flipping!

It will cover 7.50 at least. Look at the time it was submitted to Sony.
