Good for him. Too bad Janowicz lost again Murray in semi-finals. Guy has a lot of potential and talent.
My favourite lost in 1st round (Federer) but so did Nadal so early. Such a shame.
Sucks because between Murray and Djokovic, I prefer Djokovic style of playing.
Don't even get me started on female semi-finals where Radwanska lost to Lisicki that later procced to lose against Bartoli. Womans logic

Yea. Radwanska would have lost against Bartoli. I don;t think she has that strong of a hand and can't handle the pressure yet.
I don't really like to watch female games until it's semi-final or final because frankly I prefer men games any time of the day.
All I like it when they make sound

Good match! Definitely well deserved.
He was a machine today, with almost no forced errors and incredibly good physical condition (that often pissed off a nervous Nole ).
Lendl's experience and specific training helped him a lot too, he's become incredibly competitive in the last couple of years and the future will be bright for him with king Roger going to pension xD.
The Roland Garros sadly is a hard objective as long as there's beast Nadal around, but never say never

Yeah, but Roger never shined there really, actually, neither did Sampras, I can't see Murray winning the French, ever, it's a tough surface, and more suited to the likes of Nadal or others brought up on that type of court |
Very true, clay requires a completely different way of playing -more endurance and patience are required for example- though it's also true that grass courts nowadays have gotten much slower if compared to some years ago (especially in the Sampras era).
Federer on the other hand, despite being weaker on that surface, only had the misfortune to live in the same era as Nadal, who's an alien, otherwise he could have won 2-3 more French Open's for sure.
Sadly when it comes to Wimbledon, the days when we could see the good ol' serve & volley are gone, practically all the players now play from the baseline and rarely attack the net. I don't know, honestly I don't see Murray being so disadvantaged in a competition like the RG, assuming that he goes through some new complementary training methods. He's a "complete" player, which should help on paper.
When I used to play tennis decently (that was before the hernia ) my trainer often said that I could have been much better if only we had grass courts instead of clay here, hinting at the fact that my stamina was rather shite as well as my ability to stay calm. I've always liked to take that as a compliment though. xD

Murray is better on grass than Djokovic, he is 5:0 in sets on grass against him.
US open will be interesting, that is Djokovic favorite surface.

Yeah we don't have em either, my guess is pure laziness you have to trim the grass all the time and maintain it, with clay you only level the surface with that net thingy.

Hahah yeah I think it's both a mix of laziness and the fact that it's too hot here to have some decent grass. There are some in the north and in the big cities, but here..traditional cheap clay everywhere . Also I've heard that the few natural grass courts available are like 40€ per hour..so it would be a giant NOPE anyway

There are some, but they're extremely rare and mainly in the North, where there's a more suitable climate. Here it's all about clay (similar to Spain I imagine)

Scara are you watching it this year? Murray has been doing great so far, same for Djoko.
Even good ol' Roger ain't playing too bad, but I don't think he'll reach the final (never say never, eh!)

I am that buddy
Murray wont be winning it though, as he's out, beaten by they guy who I think will take the crown this year, GRIGOR DIMITROV, although RAONIC or KYRGIOS are likely contenders also |
Hah! Yeah, I spoke too soon . I've only managed to watch the third set, but Dimitrov definitely impressed me, he seems very consistent. Both the semi-finals will be interesting that's for sure, and unpredictable too. Two "veterans" vs two rising stars.

Fed boy was in deadly form today, and makes it through to the final, defeating Raonic in straight sets, easily the best tennis I've seen from him in a while.
If he plays like that on Sunday, I don't think DJ will be able to overcome him, but at 32 years old, I still give the edge to Djokovic to take the crown.
Never have I seen such a player, as Federer, in the tennis world dominate so much, and so late on in his career, gotta be admired, and surely not beaten, regardless of what happens on Sunday.
Good luck to both for the final.

Agreed, Federer is always a joy to watch. So elegant and technically perfect. He's had some physical problems last year that made him perform horribly, but if he's well-trained, he's still very competitive. The change of coach and racquet probably helped too.
As much as I like Nole, I will be definitely rooting for the King

The final was glorious...kudos to both these top-class athletes for providing such an intense match! A shame that Roger was tired as hell in the 5th set, 3-4 years ago he would have probably won that.

Well, well, well.
Fed in Final, and man wasn't he just great against Nadal?. What a guy, and at the ripe old age of 38, it's just amazing to watch this guys talent.
Best tennis player of all time, regardless of the outcome of Final.

Regardless of the final outcome, the Federer-Nadal semifinal truly offered moments of amazing quality. The last few games especially were peak tennis
