Inspired by this thread (http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8261&start=360, and that page), I decided it's about time I got off my lazy ass and started trying to get fit again.
A little information on me:
I'm 19.
9 stone 2 pounds.
5 foot 5 inches.
I *used* to be alot fitter when I was younger, done kickboxing, football, among other things, but now with college full time 5 days a week I just couldn't be bothered to do anything at all.... But no more, no more shall I be cursed with these chicken arms, no more when I bend over the flab curdles over because I have no stomach muscle .... NO MORE I SAY!!!!
So, I am turning to the help of NFOrcers, to help me on my quest. It can be anything from what works for you, to what you think would work for me.
This thread is not just for the benifit of me, oh no kids, it is for the hundreds of NFOrcers like me who would like to get more fit, but need guidence and advice... So please... Do it for the less buff than yourself.
Me personally, am not looking to be ultra-buff, a little muscle here and there will do me. I am looking to become more healthy, be able to run for half an hour and not feel like I am about to die!!!
So please, think of the arms, those defenceless chicken arms... Thank you.

If you got the time and the money (not actually that expensive really). Go to the gym. They often have several machines that can train most of your muscel groups. There should also be some kind of personal trainer that can set you up a program. And the more you go he will notice how you change and increase the levels. They also often give advice what you should eat and drink. Or even better I would recommend you to choose a fighting sport like TaeKwonDo. It trains most of your body, near army training (very strict), sometimes you sparre and you have fun most of the time. And at last you learn good techniques to defend yourself.

Things to keep in mind
* Eat and drink nutricient food! No fast food, no coke, no candy! Juice and water should be fine.
* Sleep at least 8 hours and don't stay up all night and change the rhytm of sleep/awake.
* Whatever you do, DON'T drink alcohol. You will be thrown back to square #1, sometimes it could get even worse if you keep up with the shit. If you smoke you could also try to stop with that.
* Be motivated and remember to increase you weights and the time you train. If you don't you won't see any improvements.

Alright, to start it off, this means wtf to me:
9 stone 2 pounds.
5 foot 5 inches.
You will have to convert that to meter and kilo for this d00d.
I used to be quite fat, well fat for my standard, 78 kilo, that's too much for me. I'm 1,84m. I lost weight by not eating. I just did not eat. The day would start and I would skip breakfast and when dinner came i would just eat like 3 spoons. Very unhealthy, I know, but doing this I lost 15 kilo. I went from 78 to 63 kilo. If you go to bed with hunger that means you're on the right track. Lol 63 I was dried out almost. I started training heavy once I hit this "cap" and started eating in normal doses. Not gay shit, try to eat healthy. People that want to increase their mass normally eat alot of trash, all sorts of trash they don't care what it is they just eat. Don't make this mistake, eat eggs, eat fish and eat lots of it. I did this, alongside training, now I am 70 kilo and I look great.
Building up a body is all about discipline. When i wake up, I wake up like a fag I think about two things, 1) sleeping 2) drinking juice to get the fucked up taste out my mouth. Fuck... doing sit ups and push ups.... fuck no. The trick is to push yourself to do it, no matter your mood. If you do this everyday, respect yourself enough to do it and keep on schedule it means you are serious and also that you're on the right track.
Let me sum it up a bit
1. Eat GG
2. Train GG with discipline and a schedule
If you want heavy muscles you need to go to the gym. If you do this make sure you make an appointment with the expertpeeps so they show you how all is done. I've been training for about 2 years now, and sadly I wasted 1,5 coz I trained the wrong way. Well wasted..... I wouldn't call it wasted but I could have achieved alot more.

man, i can eat whatever i want, but i always weight betwoon 75 and 80kg, which is just perfect for me
i have a small weightlift thing here which i use rarely, but its time to pick it up more often to create so arm muscles.
since i play soccer all my musclepower are in my legs haha

That sounds pretty healthy to me. My friend is 5'6 and 9 stone 5 and he doesn't look overweight or anything.

I am not overweight, i'm just unfit.
Stamina is shocking, hardly any muscle ect.
If anything I want to put weight on, without it turning to mountains of fat.

hehe im pretty much EXACTLY like that... fuckin small used to be proper fit (i used to do cross country and football all the time) but now im scrawney like you. im only 16 though i got fucked up knees and go to the physio at least once a week, ill post a pic of my knee/s later if i can be arsed.

I pretty much eat what I like, I just don't overdo it.
I weight 13 stone, but i'm not overweight.

just do weights.. lots and lots of weights. and do some cardio work.
Do weights HEAPS.. goto the gym.. and hopefully the next day ur muscles will hurt like hell...
Thats because u have broken the fibres in the muscle and when u do that it grows new and more musscle.. so when ur musslces hurt its good.

u cant really see on that pic (pretty hard to take a pic of ur knee ) but when i exercise it swells up and i want walk at all. it feels like it has liquid inside too and it's really tender. the physio and doctor said rest it for a few months and ive done that but it's no better. i went swimmin today for an hour, didnt swim that much my knee kept clicking plus i felt like shit.
