i never had a psp in my hands, but this is the only game that would make me buy one.
Whats the scene like for the psp ? is it as faceroll as the NDS where every romcard pretty much does the job?

No, it's the opposite. Some psp versions are hackable, some are not (yet)
Also, there is only two ways to hack them. On some you install custom firmware, and on others you install homebrew enabler (HEN)

Apparently there is a new decrypter out for it already. And there are pre-patched binaries available. Working on M33 and GEN.

Get a cheap gen1 console and haxx it yourself its pretty easy

The game is working on a PSP - cfw 5.50GEN-D3 with using the isotool.
Without the isotool you get an error.

Is there something I can do to the .iso on my computer?

Game freezes at cutscene after shooting coconuts.
Anyone else with problems or everyone managed to get thru this part without problems?
I did the minimal data install of 300 mb instead the full data install of 800mb. Maybe that fucks it up?

It gets stuck later. Downgrade to D2 with the official D2 installer.
You can also download a prepatched release, or patch with isotool.

Just start the app, choose mgs, decrypt, choose yes on all 3 questions, play.
