To be fair, if we got to the quarters and were not embarrassed then I would be happy, any further than that and I would be ecstatic, I just want us to atleast go out there and play well.

Though I was born here and living my whole life in Germany I don't feel as if I want them to win the cup. Germany had a great team in the 90s with top players and a nice, fast and effective way of playing football. Those times are long gone but the commentators still act as if they belong to the worlds best teams. But they clearly do not belong there and I don't like this arrogance! Especially if they win a match against a "bigger" team they act all cool and, "oh no big deal, zat was easy". Come on! Stay on the ground, be happy if you advance a round and don't dick around Germany! You deserve better than all those arrogant dickheads who criticize your team for not winning every game.
