Hear hear!
I'm about to tell you about the next generation of first person shooters!, A game that will make your chin drop to the floor... It's engine technology is beyond that of ANY other FPS, and features ten times as many polygons / model than any other FPS does. It also utilizes the latest and most expensive piece of hardware technology to the max, AND will baffle the industry for the next coming decades.
The game I'm talking about features 100 levels with ultra-realistic action, and the very latest in AI-technology. YOU CAN NOT distinguish the AI from real people.
The game also features 122 in-detail modeled weapons that can do everything the real counterpart does, AND THEY HAVE IRON SIGHTS!, Yes! People!, What would we do without iron sights? This necessity that is the best invention since the mobile toaster.
The game also features some 10.000 different lines of dialogue, now you don't have to worry about actually reading - since most gamers probably are analphabets anyway! ... Also, they're all done by separate persons!, AMAZING!, No other game has ever come up with that idea!
The game also features a multi player mode with up to 256 players, our game DOES NOT resemble any other FPS in any way, we have a unique system (that is NOT a pyramid-scheme) - you have to capture towers!, The team who have held the most towers the longest time after the game time has passed wins! This idea was thought out after 9 years of development!
And don't forget! The game will be done, WHEN IT'S DONE!, Somewhere in the unforseeable future. And it will be great!, You as a customer should happily know that the first patch is already under development!

Thougj, in comparison to most mmorpgs, 256 players aint much - even for an fps. I would have said something like.. 100000000000... or no limit. That would be cool..
fear the led zeppelin that was!

Patch is under development before release.. jeez that sounds... intresting.
and most games have models with 10 times as many polygons originally, they just get cut out for optimal performance/look ratio[/quote]

Oh jeebus, are you guys blind?
The thing is that this is what ALL game companies claim about their FPS-games, EVERY BLOODY DEVELOPER talks about "next gen" and "it's going to blow you all away" ... they implement features that we don't need, and kids (YES KIDS) start talking about crap like if it's a feature, something that's useful etc. (Usually they're overactive).
THE POINT should've been crystal if you had read the darn thing instead of just looking at the topic. 90% of you checked the topic, and the first ten words, and then decided to write something.
Ok, you don't care - don't bother to reply then
This is a strong criticism towards the gaming industry. And it's sad that so many are so blind they don't see that they're fed the same crappy games over and over again, without any new ides, creativity, etc.
I suppose I should've warned that it requires either a moderate amount of attention ability, or an IQ over 30 - to get it.

Think most pl got it but, the hard thing to know if there was someone that wasnt sarcastic, then i am worried. But i would love if some company was calling their future customers "analphabets"
