Haha exactly. Ubisoft these days is almost like a reflection of the Tiktok generation, with the kitsch neo-urban style, dumb fast-paced action and all the #yeet-isms related to the fad. It hasn't been sudden though, it's been quite a few years already that whenever something from the Calancy(tm) "brand" gets announced I die inside a little.
Then again I grew up with the original Ghost Recon, Raven Shield, Splinter Cell and all their authentic, methodical and immersive single-player campaigns. To Ubi's eyes I must look like some weird-ass fossil from the Triassic era.
