1975. Disaster strikes the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland. Navigate the collapsing rig to save your crew from an otherworldly horror on the edge of all logic and reality.
If only they learned something from Frictional Games...
But I assume they didn't, so we'll have:
• lousy / almost zero world interaction
• 50 FOV with NO! FOV slider
• woke-sprinkled for brownie points
• agenda-fit characters
• performance that's gone to the rapture
• story?
But... why so negative, you say?!
Their works so far (except Dear Esther, made 3000 years ago) were all almost shite for one reason or another:
• Amnesia - A Machine for Pigs - VERY disappointing, WEAKEST Amnesia game!
• Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE on PC + 6.5 Metacritic PC users
• Little Orpheus - Average stuff (MIXED on Steam reviews)
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
There's no inventory, no objectives log, no notes, no journal, no environment interaction except for the purpose to move forward - open door, engage contraption, read some stuff that doesn't log, use carefully placed object to distract.
It's not bad, but I personally prefer the Frictional Games approach. SOMA still remains the king (he/his) of all.

I really wanted to like Soma but i couldn't stand the protagonist's constant talking. Like I get it i dont need the main character going "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FUCKED UP" let me do that for myself.

He's an unremarkable character in an extraordinary situation. (He's just a regular guy and ultimately, imo, it's okay to be like this.)
But the whole concept of the game / the game as a whole, is just great.
