Did you copy Steam_Api.dll over along with Language.txt?
(Perhaps Reloaded's files would work, language.txt would at least as it just defines the language used outside of Steam.)

It's not meant to be better than SC1, it's dumbed down for us newbies to make it more easily accessible to play.
Want hardcore and a long yawnfest - go SC1
Want simple play and have fun - go SC2 ... |
