I leeched the vaseline crack but i cant find any servers as i said!
It stil requires u to play on a CRACKED server...not an official one... 
wrong... there are NO cracked servers...

Is there a way to turn off the music?? There's no option in the menu. Is there a command line switch or a console command?

ctrl + alt + ~
or ¬
put
seta "com_allowconsole" "1"
into your config and you can just use ~ (or ^ on german systems) |

| ive got the vaseline patch, first cracked i copied over the original exe. also got the skull thingie. So what do i need to do to play online? remove server from host file and unblock from my firewall ... |

I have downloaded the vaseline patch but it did't work here. At the start of the game it keeps asking for a serial (with or without the extra lines in my host file, this is a bit strange).

be careful, this public server patch is suspicious by itself (DEV permission for this unknown group?, exe packed by aspack...), and i was said it's the virus W32/Sdbot.worm.
