I don't think the remake had 2d backgrounds, it was all rendered in 3D like Codename Veronica was on Ps2. Still though, it had fixed cameras and worked pretty much like the earlier 2d backgrounds.

The RE1-remake for GC still looks very good in the graphic departments too. At times it is hard to believe it actually is a GC-game. The GC really had underestimated hardware for its time.

Can anyone playing Classic mode tell me if it mess with the hit chance of things?
I don't think so, the enemies are just more aggressive and you'll meet harder alien types much earlier in the game. |
