2nd: installed sPTD 1.53
3rd: mounted clone release
4th: installed the game
5th: installed 1.3 patch
6th:run the game but i get "please insert original dvd ...."

What exactly do you want it to improve? It won't make your video card a DX10 card all of a sudden. It's there for legacy.
