Why ? because he mentioned mods from the previous game? They may not be any major mod for clear sky but you can still tweak the shit out of it.

Well, all the mods I mentioned are for SoC.
Oh well so that's still a no go for clear sky of me, the other stalker i played without mods, hard but not too hard ... also problems with the A.I ... |

AFAIK, Oblivion Lost, Lurk and AMK are the best ones. Along with those, you might want to get some graphics mods.
Edit: Oh wait.. Do you plan on playing SoC or CS?
