If you go to run and type cmd and browse to your EP2 folder and type the below it will create a text doc of the structure. Please paste that result here.
I've got my hands on HL2 EP2 but apparently the RAR didn't extract the files with the folder structure intact. Now I have a bunch of .gcf files in the wrong place.
