Just figured out how stupid I was being, didn't read the nfo and only copied over the .exe file , need to copy over the cracked .dll file as well and everything will work ok!
I have exactly the same problem, I get through the intro stuff , then (just before it gets to the main start menu I'm presuming) , it crashes to desktop just after it shows Loading..... in the bottom ...
