well i have bitcommet running on that torrent now. as far as i can tell it doesnt choke up the system going past 60. says its connected to 100 peers now.
however, its also only saying there arre 27 ... |

hmm, i tried the patch that article links to already and it doesnt seem to help.
I dont see an entry in the event log anymore, but my connection still dies.

think i found the cause. In the system event viewer, when i bump up the connections and everything dies, i see this entry:
event ID 4226 TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number ... |

I thought maybe it was my router so i removed the router and connected directly to the cable m ... |
