so everything you said sounds consistent with the first post then? that with xp you can have multiple activations concurrently with 1 cdkey, but with vista you can only have one activation at any time ... |

my understanding of xp activation is that you give them system id#, msft runs a program and generates activation code, msft adds that activation code to the good list on msft mainframe.

do you need to run the starforce remover when done playing the game?
i read somewhere that starforce is still installed, but the game was cracked by removing all references to the SF drivers |
