you could try deleting the icon cache -> https://www.howtogeek.com/232779/how-to-rebuild-a-broken-icon-cache-in-windows-10/
If that doesn't do it you can manually fix the shortcuts by just right ... |

It is just a broken(or just bad) router. That tp link wr1043nd it seems.
I got asus ac51u from my parents and it works. no disconnects or slowdowns.
