I got BF2 and SpecForces through CD Keys off keystore or whatever the site is then just used clones to play problem solved 
Works fine too so yeah its possible but you do need a legit CD key, |

Managed to get copy working online
1. Use CD Key Gen.
2. Rename cracked exe (Reloaded one) to somthing else and put in BF Dir. Renamed mine BF2crc.exe
3. Keep original Exe in place and in ... |
