Two things:
My PS2 Slim is 3 months old, ever Game works PERFECT even such Laser Stres Games like San Andreas works PERFECT from my Verbatim Backup DVDs.
And God of War works perfect the most time ... |

Also, I agree wiht kuja, the problem must be the ps2 since I experience the exact same issues when using sucky media

OK, but is the DATA burned on the same places on the DVD like the original? Because when the DATA is scattered over the whole DVD because it's ripped it's also tougher for the PS2 to read the DVD?
