Well i think that theres a trigger that fucks up save games,
I loaded an old save game and i could just use save so when i went to check this out.
I loaded the save again then i couldnt save anymore ... |

Seems to me the protection might be time related,
People that teleport or rush to the galaxy map seem to have a working map. |

SubV if you nop it it will allow you to zoom if you then restore the JBE you can move your mouse again.
So just nop it when zooming in and out.
Or make a toggle like so:

With my patching i can fly anywhere and zoom into the lowest level.
But it wont show up a go down to planet ... |

Use a hexeditor to open the .exe file (probably) and then nop the command at the adress he specified (nop meaning put a "9090" ... |
