i5 760 @3,52GHz + R9 290X: just a quick test at Soviet Base, I didn't notice an appreciable performance difference but with DX12 there is some stuttering when I enter in new areas.

My only technical issue is with data streaming, apparently a mechanical HDD can't cope fast enough with biggest open areas like Madison Square Park and introduces some stuttering/pop in.

In theory it should work. Works for Steam at least.
But i somehow doubt Uplay is that advanced to check existing files. Instead it will probably just overwrite them.
