In the demo version your gfx card must meet DX 9.0 (Shader Model 2.0) or your video card doesn't meet the minimum system requirements.
So your video card must be able to use shader version 2.0

i have also dtn release, and it works fine
unless the "steamerror" it gives when i shutdown the game, but thats no big deal
