You lower the sample rate in Window's control panel, then go into the Sound app.

| So are we alone with this annoying problem? :/ I too had that problem, and I had ffdshow installed/properly configured. I ended up having to lower my audio sampling rate to 44100kHz instead of 48000kH ... |

I have same problem... I can play 2 mins to 2 hours but it strikes, audio starts keeping static noise.
When I go to windows, I have to reboot my computer to get voice vorking again...
I have win xp ... |
