Didnt d/l this myself, but i'm guessing after extraction you got a .GI file?
Burn these with Prassi Primo/Record Now Max.

Open Nero. Select File>Open. Change the Files Of Type to Image Files.
But personally I prefer DVDDecrypter |

You need to take the ID from the original, then insert it into your backup before you burn it.

Try burning at x1 and try different dvdr.
The game works ok for me. I used Ritek G04 dvd-r. |

| You need a special ID to play online PS2. Backups wont work as this info cannot be copied. You need to get this ID from your original then insert it into your ISO before you burn it. |

Check out your local paper and i'm sure you'll find several Modders.
But there is another way
Just get a fliptop lid and SwapMagic. Costs less but you have to swap discs. |

Could just be a dirty lens. Give it a clean and try it then.
If that doesn't work you can open your console and adjust the laser strength. |

Yep, most games are DVD5.
BTW make sure you burn at slow speeds and use good media to avoid coasters 
Oh, and if you had a DL burner, you would need special DL discs. |
