Erm im now at the end, im level 44 but i cant seem to kill Valdis.
Please tell me theres some kind of trick because he looks invinsible. He doesnt loose health.

To answer some questions: Alot of side quests are tied to the npc party members you have with you.

For example: the wall near the western greilen jungle teleporter is tied to a quest when you go to ...
