It is a worthy buy actually and tho there is a launcher, the DRM in itself isn't any real issue like with Settlers.

Yes, you do.
Some of the things fixed in the latest updates are the upgraded swinging mace and the weaver upgrade that lets your traps work 20% faster. Both did nothing, so that seems fairly major... |
