I am, (WAS) a heavy smoker, but I am absolutely astounded at the difference these things make. SmileSmile

I seen lots of friends with them and listened to their stories of how great they were, but me being the pessimistic type, lol, just said ho-hum.

3 weeks now Smile and no desire for a real fag (cig) lol. I urge you to try it if you smoke lots, like I did, and give it a shot. I'm a stubborn bastard, but these have changed my life at 51, bit fuckin late I know, but better late than never.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

**Edit**

The new liquid ones by the way Wink

This is the one I'm using just now, but there are many others

http://www.amazon.co.uk/SmokeMax-Primo-500-Electronic-Cigarette/dp/B00LA5TU00

You want this type, as when you smoke it, it hits back of throat and blows out and down nostrils the vapour smoke, thus simulating a real cigarette. Around 900 puffs on a single charge of battery. The liquids can come in all sorts of flavours if u desire, although I'm just using a standard tobacco like one, which costs around £5 a bottle, which will last me around 3 weeks lol, but I ain't doin it for the money. But there ya go, another incentive for some of ya Smile

I smoke ecigs since november 2013. There is no sense in writing about brands on my part as every country has different i guess.

Smoking ecigs feels much better mostly - no fucking odour on my hands and breath, nice taste actually. On the dark side there is a bit of screwing around with changing flavours and these ecigs are just badly made and cheap so i broke a few (one of them while drunk Very Happy ).
But the worst thing is because it tastes nice i smoke most of the day and i think i get a mild cough because of it.

I wish you all good luck, I know from personal experience how bloody hard it is to give up. Personally and in my own experience the only way to really stop is to just stop, no gradual process, no patches/e-cigs etc.

I too smoked baccy and I still miss rolling them. Very Happy

But good luck and whatever works for you.

I got a regular battery with adjustable voltage and I'm using a protank 3 from kanger.
They're awesome. ^_^

Both the protank 3 and T3S are really good, no leakage at all from those two.

I have the Redds E-Cig. I wanted something a little bit more "normal looking" than all these shiny big ass thing. The Redds is small, same shape/size as a cig and have automatic battery. Also, the carrying case can hold 3 more prefilled tips and another battery. I really like it

it's something like that

http://www.happyvaper.com/Redds_Premium_Starter_Kit_p/reddskit.htm

May not be the best out there, but it do the job fine!

Dunno? Surely cant be any worse than actually smoking.

Another little thing to note, there are fluids with and without nicotine. Amazon, for example, does not sell the nicotine variety, at least not here in UK anyway.

The fluid I'm using does contain nicotine (medium - 18mg).

LOL!

well, if i need to choose between a product extracted naturally from tobacco plant, smoked with natural leaves, and some industrial liquid burned with a battery, will always go for natural.

what you would prefer ? a natural homemade fresh beer fermented for 2+ months, or something done in 1 day in a factory ? which one do you think is more healthy ?
my grandfather was making his own cigarettes from self growing tobacco plants, and believe me, is an art. from planting to fermenting. and he almost reached 100 years (96).

if you want to quit smoking becasue is bad for you, just quit, dont trick yourself thinking that ecigs are more healthier.

Well, i don't think "normal" cigarettes are made like you described. They have many toxic substances in them. E-cigs have nicotine which is toxic and flavour ingridients. Base liquid (propylene glycol) is considered as non-toxic and used f.e. in medicine.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycol

Basically if i have to choose between cigarettes and e-cigs i'll choose the latter simply because it's less toxic (but it isn't non-toxic). Ideally it's best to just quit smoking altogether but it's much easier said than done. Especially when in company of smokers.

I tried ecigs right around the time when they were starting to get popular a few years back, and I just really disliked it. Ended up quitting smoking all together Smile

same here (kinda).i used the ego-c as entry level ecig but those atomizer heads are unreliable and quite expensive in the long run.got a cheap Vamo V2 and after using a lot of horrible atomizers (iclear30 for example tastes like nothing) i bought a Kanger ProTank3 and that thing is just perfect.
