2 years ago, when i went to the ophthalmologist i had my eyes checked . Now i have been wearing glasses ever since i was young, but when i turned 16 or 17 my eye sight got better and i stopped wearing them altogether. So, i had my eyes checked out and that damn bitch said that everything is fine, and i am not far/nearsighted just a slight astigmatism. So i got glasses for that and everything was dandy...or so i thought.
Today , i had my first aid course and had an eyesight test and it turns out that , while my right eye sight is fine my left one is fucked up, at least for that test >> Spoiler: | |
I can read, watch porn and do all the other stuff just fine , but when it comes to this test i cant see shit. Everything is blurry and ofc because of that, i failed the test. Right eye is smth like +0,25 while my left eye is +1,5-1,75. Now i tried this shit with my AUSOM glasses and guess what, they didnt help one fucking bit. That girl on the test said, that the doc that checked my eyes mustve been drunk or totally retarded .
Now because of the failed sight test , i cant do the license test and i need that fucking license asap because of a new job that comes up next month. I have to first get an appointment with an ophthalmologist , get a recipe for new glasses, get the new glasses, do another sight test and THEN i can fucking do my drivers license.
Oh i forgot to mention that it takes about a month to get a fucking appointment with ANY ophthalmologist in this city, because i have an public health insurance and not an private one. Fucking tourist class health insurance here......
Might get an appointment if i beg around for bit , but i am kinda fucked i guess

Cause so far I've always had classic eye tests, with letters and numbers. |
yep, you have to tell where the gap is, ofc its not displayed as big as it is in this picture.

Or even both of the eyes put that much strain on the brain (Very Happy) that you don't know, you have a problem. My brother's colleague from work realised that he has a big problem with his sight, when he started to faint too often, and the doctors said it's because of the work his brain is doing to compensate for his impairment. |
havent had any fainting problems so far, maybe headache“s, but thats mostly due to the fact of my migraine.

I can barely see shit from that picture with my left eye. I can do the top 3 rows, maybe the 4th one aswell, but then I can't differentiate at all. Pretty blind in that eye, I can see everything without it being blurry or anything, but it's like I have 10 thousand blind spots. which sucks.
Well, at least you know you can get the drivers permit. I don't know if I can get it, maybe if I have some eye surgery.

This is the first time that I've heard about this problem, sucks Hellifant . I guess they need some more specific tests (which could also be reading/identifying traffic signs) and once they realize that it doesn't affect driving, hopefully, you'll be good to go.
We have the default test with letters here, even though to be honest doctors don't even care since they take the money beforehand and after 20 seconds you're in your car xD
