Any ideas what's its caused by and how to fix it?
I can browse the drive just fine, copy from works fine but when I try copy TO then it says hard drive it's full....

Also it looks like when I run the game from that hard drive, it works just fine but whenever I change settings, they are not getting applied, like the write operation is not working at all.

Halp pls..

Btw, simple restart is going to fix it but it's just going to happen again in a few hours :\

I seem to recall having a drive that would seemingly turn write protected at random and the issue was a faulty or a badly connected cable. Apparently it would disconnect/reconnect at random times so Windows would set it to read-only to prevent the possibility of corrupted data write or something.

I don't remember if I had confirmed that the last part was the reason why it became read-only, but in any case the main point is that it could be due to some mechanical issue.

Bitlocker is installed but it's not enabled on any of the hard drives anyway.

Try better Check Disk software.

Also see if your Hard Drive manufacturer has any tools to use.

I used WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows and run extended test and it passed with flying colors. No idea what the fuck is up with it.

I have Hard Disk Sentinel and it shows, there is nothing wrong with it.
