Electronic Arts earlier this week let go of their contractors at the office and told full-time staffers they could either take compensation and leave or continue working in the office to support work on Visceral's rumored police-themed Battlefield title, code-named Havana. Sources say Havana is due out later this year.
The teams alternating development will likely be DICE / Visceral.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Ugh, how about instead of this shit they give Visceral access to the Frostbite engine and funds to make a new Dead Space more like the first one(I'll even settle for the second, but the not the POS 3rd), and instead of Battlefield 5 which will be yet another "been there, done that" shooter about Arabs, Chinese, Russian and Americans, make Battlefield 2143?
Nah, they'll just make Battlefield 4.5 and sell it for $60, and the sad part is people will accept it despite bitching about BF4's pathetic launch.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
I wasn't the biggest fan of Dead Space, but I liked them, which was something weird for me considering the genre. I also think all 3 of them are pretty much on the same level and each is a bit different which is good, but then again I didn't like them for being games that try to scare the player. I actually love how horror in the third one is more of a theme than the main thing that defines the game.
Just rumours.
Unlikely though, I don't see all the bf4 dlc's released before september, it would't make sense to release a new game before that.
Also, bf4 released 2 years after bf3 seems to hurt the franchise, bf5 within a year would kill it.

The battlelog states:
DLC 2 - Coming soon
DLC 3 - Spring
DLC 4 & 5 - Summer
and the PREMIUM calender ends at October.
So it's not that far fetched that a new BF game will be arriving this year.
I knew that they couldn't resist, it was just too tempting. Not even 5 DLCs for one single game are enough when you compete against Cawaboongy. We gotta milk the cow on monthly basis!
Anybody remember the Police Warfare Kickstarter? It was like Battlefield but with a cops and robbers setting...and the Kickstarter was mysteriously canceled with this final message:
Quote:
Hey Guys,
Thank you so much for the incredible response to the game. We're shutting down the kickstarter account but this is by no means the end of Police Warfare. News will be coming.

Yeah this is supposed to be for the masses, so it's either a Payday clone or simply something that uses some recycled close combat maps that were supposed to be released as DLC for BF4, replacing knives with truncheons, battlepacks with bribepacks etc.
Firearms and brutally killing people will be the focus here, since it's meant to be an authentic reproduction of American police's modus operandi
If it's police themed, wouldn't it (largely) be a game where you don't kill at all?
Even more so if it were SWAT, there should be plenty of non-lethal options.
2014 generation of gamers + FPS + SWAT/police =
Tacticool comin' right up
if they would make a game like this
\
i am all IN
yes really , i play this frequently , you would not believe how many of those gamers i play with are real Swat guys , and they dig this game ... even today then most of others
If it's SWAT, they'll work in some excuses for lethal combat.
Like terrorists have invaded American homes and the military can't get into the city for some reason, so it's up to the local police department to take care of business.
