No idea how the laws are in russia but can the team really stand and watch if someone is being raped or murdered, without facing charges?
Anyways, it sounds like they're just using this in a way to promote the show, it has no real meaning.. which in itself is quite disgusting and low imo.

There won't be a crew there so production cannot be accused "you could stop person x killing person y, but chose to sit by and watch".

i wonder how a winner will be determined though. doesnt seem to be anything more than 'were going to dump you in the cold for half a year... then.. someone wins i guess'

Unfortunately the English article is utter bullshit. There's no murder or rape in the official rules which also state that:
"For violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation a participant leaves the project without the right to a prize, and is passed to the police."
Also it's nowhere in the news in Russia and the website is pathetic so probably some fake shit or just testing people's interest and reaction.
