Had to drive my dad to ER a bit ago, he was crying from the pain in his stumach area. never saw him cry in my life.... 40 years as NCO in the army. My mother sent me home right away so now im sitting here waiting for news.

Hope everything goes well. It might not be anything too bad. Do you not think that maybe you should go see your dad though? Just a suggestion, you know what is best Smile

Hope everything turns out alright for your dad!

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Hope it's nothing serious. Sad

Hopefully it's just a kidney stone or something. Those can be incredibly painful and can start hurting in an instant. :/

I hope your father will be ok. Loosing a parent is something that terrifies me and I'm aware that I will have to face it some day. Sad

Fingers crossed for your dad Paintface, it could be just ulcer or harmless (but very painful) kidney stones. The fact that bloodscans didn't show anything serious should already be positive. Hope everything goes well, I wish him the best of luck!

You get used to it after a while. Everyone will die someday, all you can do is live your life as best as you can.

Hope everything is fine with your father. Smile

Actually thought of kidney stones when you described it, had it a few months ago and it is one of the worst pain out there. Here's hoping it's something as harmless like that Smile

Excruciating pain in the stomach and slightly higher areas can be something as simple as being constipated/trapped air. I had it once so bad I was on kitchen floor in agony for 20 mins waiting for medics, even had morphine the pain was that bad.

Got to hospital, blood tests clear, probed and pushed about, given the all clear. Pain just went on its own.

God I had that, had to be driven to the hospital for a check up. Car drove over a bump and suddenly it was gone. It was so awkward to explain I had been in excruciating pain for over 3 hours and that it was suddenly gone.
