|
 |
Hey,
I have to submit a config until end of May for my next company car.
Check it out and tell me if that makes sense or what you would do:
http://mein.bmw.de/l3b9i5m5
The only rules are it needs to be a 420d Coupe and cost less than 56k.
And of course you would "tend" to max out the specs to match the 56k, but realistically speaking you dont wanna waste no moneys and rather invest in extras that are "worth the buck".
What do you think?
"There will be no end to the troubles of humanity, until philosophers become kings, or kings become philosophers.", Plato.
"Hyperbole will destroy us all.", Matt Dillahunty.
"The hyperbole, the demonization of the other opinion and the unwillingness to even read the opposing opinion destroys the so important political discussions necessary for the well functioning of society.", Couleur

man its hard to navigate that shit when its in german...I expect it has pretty decent starting extras so what are some of the options you are pondering?
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

Why not, he's not going to take it to the track anyway.

The 8 gear manual seems to be some amazing work of engineering and I'd say you are even faster with it then the standard gear setup

Well he is already driving a E250 coupé and that isn't even top of the line when it comes to our companies car selection... I am not eligible for one though

On your configuration:
In the motor selection, you've selected 420d manual, but in the transmission selection it says sports automatic
now the selection:
- You can get the whole Innovation package S07R7, for 100eur more, getting some of the extras that you've selected already, and more.
- Same with Comfort package S07VB, but for 500eur more.
- Speed Limit Info S08TH - useless shit, most of the time it's wrong, save 300eur
- Exterior parts in body color S0321 - this would be cool, but a personal choice
Price: 54,360
Now if you want to spend up to 2320 of your money, but it will be well spent:
- Reversing camera S03AG 420e - very handy extra, it makes any parking and reversing piss easy
- Alarm System S0302 480e - BMWs are high in the thief's eyes, so it's a good investment, but on the other hand it's a corporate car..
- Automatic air conditioning, S04AE 150e - this is actually a front armrest - very comfortable for long roads
- Light package S0563 260e - more LED lights outside and inside the vehicle - very practical and cool looking
- Sun protection glazing S0420 350e - not only for the cool looking factor, but it actually makes your car cooler when parked in the sun
- Variable sports steering S02VL 300e - this is very handy if you drive a lot on highways
And this all adds up to: 56,320
now for my preference:
I'd go with same extras, but with manual transmission and xDrive(or 425d)
btw, where are you working? are they looking for DBAs or BI devs (MSSQL)?

you still didn't remove the Speed Limit InfoS08TH?
according to Auto Build's tests it was wrong regularly - showing less or above the actual speed limit, because it has trouble reading road signs via the front camera
so it's not to be trusted 100%, and because of that it becomes useless, because you'll always doubt it's measures, and if you don't you could get fined quite a lot..

awesome!
did you add anything else? cause the price went up 700 instead of just 400?
also if you'd do a lot of long range driving - you should consider the front armrest at least
