well, just watched the trailer. dunno what people are on about, it looks fun. i dont think it'll be a hit in the same way the first one was, but im hoping for a pretty solid over the top surreal action film, much like the first.

300 had dialogue and characters so abysmal - it's like excrement for the ages.
Oh, it had a lot of CGI and stupid over-the-top fighting - so I guess there's that.

So i just grabbed 300, as i have only seen it once before.
Tried 4 versions, each looks as crappy as the other, now i'm kinda starting to remember it was made to look that way on purpose. Its a grainy type picture... anyone remember if its supposed to look that way?

I see that they doubled the ration of post processing effects and slow-mo's, just in case. 
300 was my guilty pleasure, and this one doesn't seem different (even if the director is nearly unknown ). Could be good for ~120 minutes of pop corny slaughtering and oiled bodies.
