You can also grab an uploaded APK and play via any other emulator/VM like Handy (<3) or AndroVM, etc, etc. Even DuOS, the dual-boot/live-boot Android distro for PC. This helps if you don't have, or want, to setup Google Apps on your emu.

After reading how fast GenY was I went and tried it out... 10 mins later I went back to bluestacks. Works out of the box and is quite faster on my pc. 
When I searched for Fallout Shelter I just had to scroll down a bit more and there it was.
For some reason that shitty play store always finds crap before the main app you were searching for.

I told myself why not, first "game" that I installed on my S4 since I got it almost two years ago. Not the best idea, shouldn't have bothered but curiosity killed the cat   . After 10 minutes of rinse and repeating simple tasks and being treated like what the Vault Boy was making fun of in the first place, I pressed the nuke button.
I was just reading that this phone game alone generated something like >$5 million dollars after only two weeks, simply insane. Housewives are the new core audience

Game is nice, but you cannot play it 'actively' at least in the beginning.
Would be nice if there was something to do all the time, ie. some minor improvements to the gather speeds etc.

best thing you can do is changing time on cellphone to the next day and that's it. You don't have to wait for tons of thing to happen. Although the game is still boring as shit.

my Tablet isn`t capable of running this without going kaputt so i tried "Andy" but somehow it works for the first time and after rebooting the VM it stutters every 5 seconds. anyone else got this?

People seem to miss the fact that this is a long duration persistent game. It's meant to be played on mobile devices, where you just set shit up and wait for system notifications. It isn't a normal sim

you need w10 mobile running on it, get the project astoria tools.connect handy via usb, go to the updates & security menu -> for developers -> activate dev mode.
use wconnect usb to pair the device. use adb install name.apk to sideload the apk. then either use the adb push command to get the obb on the device (takes a long time). or simply copy it via pc on the phone. now create a shortcut on your desktop just pointing to c:\ and copy that on you phone too (is easier than exploiting the search in the filebrowser to get full access). get you device, open file browser, tap on that shortcut you created. voila, full file system access. get your ass to c:\Data\Users\Public, tap on the obb -> move to and get to c:\Data\Users\DefApps\APPDATA\Local\Aow\mnt\shell\emulated\0\Android\obb
dunno if the obb folder itself is enough, otherwise start it first once -> you get an error message and the game creates a fallout subfolder in the obb dir and put it there (thats what i did)
