Season 3 and season 5 are very good. Season 2 and 4, 7, 8 are also not bad.
The problem with the early seasons was they had no idea what to give the daughter to do, so she would always get involved in some stupid shit. Starting with season 4, they found a groove that made everything flow much better.

Season 1 was ok ,a original take on fake real time
but then i became shit , every season was a disaster... bleh ,after this i just skipped this series all together
no wonder they made a Mini Film version called Redemption [yeah i know it was made to fill the hole, the writer strike made]
but then i gave it a chance and saw Redemption and oh boy they fixed its whole presentation and derp logic ... and Season 7 was a masterpiece , it was like SplinterCell
but then Season 8 came and it was ... meh

In the 24 timeline with the amount of Presidents Bauer has been involved with he would be in his 60's.
