I think the movie title was translated that way because they did the same with the book. So it's the book translator's fault. That's not important though, it's still a pretty weird... translation.
I think translators/editors can have the creative freedom to retitle a book to make it more apeeling to their target market.
Not that 'the girl with the dragon tattoo' is the best title out there, but it sure beats 'men who hate women'

Might be just me, but I don't find trailers like this to be any good. Good music is only half the job, the second half can't just be random snippets from the movie, that's a trailer worthy of a 16 year old, which in turn doesn't tell me crap about the movie itself., it's supposed to be a trailer after all, not some bastard child of trailer and teaser.
My idea of a good trailer is something like .

I found this trailer to be much more effective than the one you linked. Also, it's a different style of film, so not all trailer cliches fit all films.
