|
 |
Hi, recently (a couple of months ago) thanks to or missing friend Aeon who gave me a discount code for Logitech store i got a new keyboard, a mechanical, backlighted, with some macro keys and multimedia keys Logitech G710+, the spects i was looking for.
Few weeks before that i got a Razer Deathadder 2013 mouse and installed synapse 2.0 (the feel of the mouse increase a lot with that) and had another logitech keyboard with SetPoint installed. Everything on the pc runned perfect.
After got the g710+ i had to install Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) and immediately the pc hangs, looked like the synapse 2.0 and the latest LGS had a conflict, so i installed an older version, then everything worked fine.
But, the keyboard started to "turn off" by itself randomly, sometimes when i start the pc it doesnt light up and doesnt work other times im on the pc and then i realize that the keyboard doesnt work, forcing me to reboot or unplug and plug it again. I think i could be a problem with Synapse + LGS, or just having synapse installed, dont really now.
This is the devide manager after the pc starts and the keyboard doesnt work:
Windows stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)
I opened a thread on Logitech forums getting not really an answer to my problem so i oppened a Ticket to support to see if they can help me or tramit the warranty. They guy of support offered me a G510s because, i quote his words "looks like theres no stock of g710+ and maybe theres not gonna be more", that boders me i spent 100€ on a keyboard and i cant use my warranty? The guy of support stop to answer my weekly messages and after a month i wrote on their facebook page and into logitech twitter, in one week they sent me a new keyboard without asking for the "broken" one.
Well, this keyboard arrived this monday, i thanked the guy on facebook and wrote a reply to the support that the problem was solved. But i still have the same problem, the keyboard stop working randomly. I unnistalled yesterday LGS and the problem persist, i think im gonna unnistall Synapse and lets see.
The new keyboard came from Barcelona, from the facebook/twitter guy who took care of my problem and today i got another keyboard from Netherlands, probably from the guy who stopped answer me on the ticket support more than a month ago.
And now i have three Logitech G710+, still have the same problem with it and dont know if i should call the Facebook guy (who was really nice to me, apologizing for the trouble and calling me by phone) and tell him that i got another one or use it as a christmas gift for a friend. I think even he dont know that support sent me a newone, indeed i didnt know until it arrived.
For the ones who dont one to read all that bad english writen thing:
- Got a new Logitech keyboard that suddenly and randomly stop working.
- Thinked that it could be because of Razer software and Logitech software making some conflict
- They messed up with my warranty and now i got two more.
Anyone you had a similar problem or know how can i try to find a solution to this? (and yes i thought about try to sell all of them and get another keyboard from Razer or other trademark)
Should i call Logitech and tell them that they send me two of them instead of just one?

I think i solved the problems plugin the mouse in the usb 3.0, looks like all the usb 2.0 are the same hub on the motherboard and the 3.0 are a different one, now looks like theres no conflict, its been a week since i did the change a zero problems, now i have 2 extra g710+ and the old k800 that still works.
