Literally nothing has changed in the past 24 hours but now all a sudden when I open any of my movies my whole system bogs down and the movie gets reeeaallly jittery.
The only thing I did different was I installed super meat boy. That was it. Thought maybe my receiver was acting funky since it's hooked up via HDMI for sound only, shut that off, no go. Still jumpy as hell.
Tried using both VLC and Media Player Classic. System tasker manager shows 12% usage.

Are they immediately jumpy or do they play fine and suddenly, after a minute or so, start sketching out? Do they work fine if you keep moving the mouse? If it's the former... sorry, don't know, that's just weird. If it's the latter? Welcome to the wonderful world of being fucked by a bitcoin miner. Open up task manager and leave it, open a GPU monitoring app like Afterburner or Precision or GPU-Z and leave those too, then go watch a movie. Wait for the stuttering.. go check the usage logs and see if you were pegging 99-100% at the time.

The loads only go up when I start the movie otherwise the GPU only goes up like 1-3% when I open the browser, if I close it, it goes back to 0.
when I open the movie it starts out laggy and stays laggy and teh GPU usage goes up to 100% which I don't remember EVER seeing before. It's a 7950

aahhhhhh ha ha ha, figured it out. I went to uninstall the beta driver I'm using thinking maybe it just started acting funky then remembered I was messing around with the forced AA and Aniostropic shit and apparently forgot to click on the game then use the settings. I had it selected on system settings. Set system settings back to default and it's all gravy now.
